What Happened to All the Coupon Codes?

We often get asked by long-time customers, "why haven't you sent out coupon codes in a while?"

Prior to the pandemic, NorthWestPharmacy.com regularly sent out coupon codes in our efforts to help boost your savings but we took a pause after the pandemic began. That's because we have been focused on saving you money in other important ways rather than through coupon codes.

The Cost of Shipping and Cost of Procurement Has Soared

The cost of shipping parcels to customers is approximately 40% higher than it was prior to the pandemic yet we still maintain the pre-pandemic flat-rate shipping fee of $9.99. By maintaining our pre-pandemic shipping charge, we are effectively subsidizing the actual cost of shipping and are absorbing the excess we are paying. For items marked with "free shipping" specials, we are absorbing the entire cost of shipping those parcels.

The acquisition costs of pharmaceutical products have significantly increased since the pandemic began too. The prices we pay for the safe and authentic products you buy through us have gone up due to the weakness in the U.S. dollar and a jump in the cost of raw materials for producing drugs as operational and transportation costs of drug makers also soar. All of this is further complicated by the pandemic-related U.S. and international drug shortages as well as the export bans we have previously advised customers about in our newsletters.
